When the resin passes through the ion exchange column, the negative cation binds to Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions, effectively softening the water.
MC-08 is a premium resin with uniform bead size and a uniformity coefficient of 1.1, reducing pressure drop during operation, increasing ion exchange efficiency, and minimizing resin loss during backwash.
Moreover, ion exchange resin is used to remove minerals by passing water through a column containing H+ ions and then through another column containing OH- ions. These ions combine to form H2O, which is pure water.
Currently, TRILITE MC-08 resin is applied in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, drinking water, thermal power, brewing, and textile dyeing.
